Summary
We are seeking a safety-first, versatile Carpenter (Certified or Non-Certified) to join our team across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. If you are a true "Jack of All Trades" who prioritizes workplace safety above all else, this role offers excellent variety. You will perform a wide range of general carpentry and finishing duties, including drywalling, taping, painting, and tiling across various job sites. A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position.
This role is employed through CLAC, and membership will be required once hired.
Key Responsibilities
- At least five years of previous construction experience working on commercial, residential, or institutional.
- Must be comfortable performing multiple different roles, including laborer duties, and tasks related to construction.
- Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift to 50lbs
- Able to use hand power tools
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with the ability to travel to various project sites on an as needed basis
- Adherence and participation in the Scott Construction Health & Safety Program
- Valid BC SiteReady, and Fall Protection ticket
- High School diploma
- Red Seal certification is not required
