Base salary is determined by a combination of factors, but not limited to education, training, years of experience and internal equity.
 
Opportunity Summary
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a team that collaborates to provide creative solutions for our clients and external/internal stakeholders. You will be supporting the project team on residential and institutional projects in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Project Manager & Superintendents to ensure that delivery of critical project elements is expedited and completed.
  • Administer subcontracts and purchase orders, coordinate subcontractor onboarding and contract execution.
  • Assist with cost tracking and change management, processing orders, including assessing cost and schedule impact.
  • Performing routine site visits and attending site meetings as requested by Project Manager.
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals and meeting minutes.
  • Track and manage document control systems and distribution to consultants and trades.
  • Support all aspects of the project including profitability, schedule adherence and customer expectations.
  • Contribute to maintaining project safety culture, support safety documentation and compliance reporting.
  • Assist with quality control documentation and inspection records.
  • Review subcontractor applications for payment.
  • Work with accounting department to ensure project accounting is accurate and timely.
  • Coordinate close-out documentation and support final inspections and project handover.
  • Ensure consistency with company procedures, reporting standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience working in construction, project management or field experience.
  • Familiarity with drawings, specifications, contracts and consultant coordination.
  • Experience supporting schedules, budgets, procurement, and change management.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project and Procore is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, methods, sequencing and terminology.
  • Strong relationship building and track record of integrity when dealing with clients, consultants and trades.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, clear verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with a variety of people.
