Opportunity Summary

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, as the Junior Accountant, you will support the accounting team with the day-to-day accounting tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Your role will involve aiding in the preparation of working papers for accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations across various divisions.
You will be responsible for accounts payable through monitoring of inboxes, processing invoices and being responsible for vendor management and communications.
You will be successfully supporting the accounting team in fulfilling their mandate to complete month, quarter and year end processes on time and accurately.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting.
Eligible for entry into the CPA PEP program.
Self motivated with customer service experience and a can-do attitude.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with an accounting software is advantageous.

Compensation

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
